First
Exposure to Harness Racing - When I was young,
I would go to the races and it was an unbelievable feeling
when you watch them race.
Number
of Years I've Owned Horses - Five
Best
Horse I Owned - Trotter Rotation, a winner of
$1.4 million and Canada's older trotting horse of the year.
In 2003 Rotation has won numerous stakes races including
the prestigious Maple Leaf Trot.
Greatest
Thrill in Harness Racing - Winning the Maple
Leaf Trot.
What
I Love About the Sport - Avoiding the spotlight,
rather than standing directly in it. Any chance you have
to sit back and be the one watching is great. Seeing someone
else perform and letting me be the critic for once that's
not a bad thing.
Advice
I Would Give Someone Interested in Becoming a
Horse Owner - Let the experts (trainers) make
the big decisions... that's what you pay them for. Enjoy
the experience and have fun.
